• 1 c. brown sugar
• ¼ c. shortening
• ¼ c. butter softened
• 3 tbsp. milk
• 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
• 1 egg
• 3 c. Aunt Jemima Pancake Mix
• 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Method

 

1. Begin by heating your oven to 350°F and lining a baking sheet with parchment paper. Then cream together the butter, shortening, and sugar until light and fluffy. Next add in the egg, milk, and vanilla and continue to mix until well combined. Then mix in the pancake mix until you have a consistent dough before adding in the chocolate chips.
2. When the dough is ready, spoon 1 tablespoon of dough onto your pan about 2 inches apart. Bake for 13-15 minutes or until they are lightly golden. Remove from the oven and allow to cool before serving!
