Creamy and delicious, you won’t even realize that you’re missing milk and eggs with this easy vanilla ice cream recipes. You can use whatever nut butter works best for your household. It doesn’t contribute a ton of flavor to the ice cream, but it does help to give it that creamy texture.
For sweetener you can use sugar, agave, honey, whatever type of sweetener that you’re excited about using. It’s a fabulous vanilla recipe because it’s just so versatile!
Vanilla Almond Milk Ice Cream
Creamy and sweet
- 2 c. almond milk of choice
- ½ c. nut butter of choice
- ⅓ c. sweetener of choice
- ¼+⅛ tsp. salt
- 1 ½ tsp. vanilla extract
- Begin by whisking together the ingredients in a bowl. If you're using an ice cream machine, pour the mixture into the machine and and use the manufacturer's instructions to finish the ice cream. If you are going to be using a blender, pour the mixture into ice cube trays and allow to freeze. When the cubes are frozen, toss them into a blender and blend until you have an even consistency. Then eat or freeze for about an hour. Enjoy!
