Delicious Diet Shakes: is there really such a thing? The answer is yes! There are a few things that make diet shakes worth drinking, and I’ve broken it down for you below.
First, you need a good blender! Having a good blender is KEY. You want your shake to be smooth and well-mixed, not chunky. This is a great option if you don’t have a good blender. If you want one for on the go, then I’d give this a shot!
Second, think protein powder. If you want your shake to really check all the boxes, then you’ve got to have a good protein powder. Depending on your taste buds, you can get try whey protein, soy protein, egg protein, pea protein, and more! I’d suggest getting a small amount of a few different types and going from there. Vanilla is typically the best flavor because it’s really versatile, but having a solid chocolate flavor is a nice mix up for when you want something more decadent.
Last, it’s all about the recipe. It’s important to have great recipes at hand to spice up your protein powder. They can help you balance your fruit and veggie ratio.
Now that you’ve got your basics, here are some recipes to get you started!
