Easy Summer Drinks For Kids: Strawberry Milkshakes
If you’re looking for something healthy to make with your littles, this is it. The strawberries can be super flavorful depending on when the strawberries are picked. You can always substitute frozen strawberries and omit the ice if you’re in a rush! To make this dish a little healthier, you can sub out the ice cream with greek yogurt.

Ingredients
- ½ c. strawberries cut and halved
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 pint fat-free vanilla ice cream or greek yogurt
- ½ c. milk
- ½ c. small strawberries for garnish
Instructions
- After you've washed, cut, and hulled the strawberries, add them to a bowl with the sugar and vanilla and mix until well combined. Let it sit for at least half an hour and up to 1 hour. Put the strawberry mixture with the juices, ice cream, and milk into a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. Put in these darling mugs, and garnish with some small fresh strawberries.
