Shopska Salata

Crisp and tangy with the addition of creamy cheese, this salad is perfect.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 tomatoes chopped
  • 1 large cucumber chopped
  • 4 large green or red peppers roasted or raw, and chopped
  • 1 large yellow onion chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh parsley chopped
  • ½ c. sunflower oil
  • ¼ c. red wine vinegar
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • ½ c. feta cheese

Method
 

  1. Start by washing and chopping the vegetables. Then place the tomatoes, cucumber, peppers, parsley, and onion into a bowl and toss until combined. In a separate container, mix the oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper by shaking heartily until mixed. Then toss the dressing with the vegetables and place in the fridge for at least an hour before serving. Before serving, top with feta and serve!
