Instant Pot Mac & Cheese

Simple ingredients but complex flavor!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. uncooked pasta
  • 4 c. water
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 ½ tsp. Dijon mustard
  • ¼ tsp. garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 c. milk (or evaporated milk)
  • 4 c. shredded cheese of choice
  • ½ c. Parmesan cheese

Method
 

  1. Start by putting the pasta, water, butter, mustard, garlic powder, and 1 tsp. salt to the Instant Pot and give a good stir. Then cover and cook on "high" for 4 minutes with the vent set to "sealed." When the timer goes off, use the quick release method, then remove the lid.
  2. Next, add the milk and cheese into the instant pot and stir until they combine into a creamy sauce. This sauce will thicken as it stands. Season with salt and pepper and enjoy!
