- Start by putting the pasta, water, butter, mustard, garlic powder, and 1 tsp. salt to the Instant Pot and give a good stir. Then cover and cook on "high" for 4 minutes with the vent set to "sealed." When the timer goes off, use the quick release method, then remove the lid.
- Next, add the milk and cheese into the instant pot and stir until they combine into a creamy sauce. This sauce will thicken as it stands. Season with salt and pepper and enjoy!
