Easy Shrimp Tacos & Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb shrimp
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • ½ tsp. sea salt
  • ¼ tsp. black pepper
  • ¼ tsp. ground cumin
  • ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
Shrimp Taco Sauce
  • c. sour cream
  • c. mayo
  • 1 ½ Tbsp. lime juice
  • ¾ tsp. garlic powder
  • ¾ tsp. Sriracha sauce or preferred hot sauce

Method
 

  1. Begin by thawing the shrimp. Then add the seasonings and garlic together and toss to combine with the shrimp and set aside. Next, heat up the olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. When the oil is hot, add the shrimp and saute for 1-2 minutes per side or until pink and opaque. Then transfer the shrimp to a platter and allow to cool.
  2. Serve the shrimp on toasted tortillas with thinly sliced cabbage, diced avocado and red onion. For the sauce, whisk the ingredients together. Last, build your tacos and drizzle with your sauce. Then serve and enjoy!
