Instant Pot Mac & Cheese

Simple ingredients but complex flavor!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. uncooked pasta
  • 4 c. water
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 ½ tsp. Dijon mustard
  • ¼ tsp. garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 c. milk (or evaporated milk)
  • 4 c. shredded cheese of choice
  • ½ c. Parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Start by putting the pasta, water, butter, mustard, garlic powder, and 1 tsp. salt to the Instant Pot and give a good stir. Then cover and cook on "high" for 4 minutes with the vent set to "sealed." When the timer goes off, use the quick release method, then remove the lid.
  • Next, add the milk and cheese into the instant pot and stir until they combine into a creamy sauce. This sauce will thicken as it stands. Season with salt and pepper and enjoy!
