Process: Bring 4 cups of water to a boil. While it’s boiling, wash the ginger root you’re going to use. Don’t peel the ginger. Grate 1/2 tsp of ginger and when the water is boiling, toss it in to the saucepan. Remove the water from heat and allow the ginger to steep for 10 minutes. After it has steeped, strain the ginger out and either drink the tea hot, or pour into your storage container and put in the fridge. You can add honey or lemon to adjust the flavor if needed. Only consume 4 cups steeped with the 1/2 tsp. ginger once a day.
